Dam shame, been looking for a decent TE for ages too. Sounds exactly like what i'm looking for, good price too.

How far is the drive from sydney ?

btw SPK-383, love your TE, brings back memories. Mine looked pretty much the same when I bought it.

The one for sale looks more or less the same as mine, but still got the spoiler and 13's. Adelaide is about 1600km's from Sydney i think, you could do it in 16 hours i reckon. $1999 is a good price and i reckon you could probably get it cheaper. What i'm looking for i'd rather pay like $4000 for one if you know what i mean, that way it's priced accordingly for body condition and the such.

1300k's from paramatta to Elizabeth and proberbly 60 more to Morphett Vale.
Considering it is a rare build, i would say it would be worth the trip.
You dont see them adsvertised everyday, infact i have never heard of them before never mind seen one.
As has been said, the trim is faultless, which for a cortina, is fairly rare in itself.
It most certainly looks the part, and for what you could knock off the price, it would nearly cover the cost of coming over
