My young bloke burned a copy off the internet afew weeks ago. I watched it, really good except for the bit with the jet fighter, that spoilt it, too much.
Typical John McLean all the way through, great shoot em up in the beginning, you'll enjoy it for sure.

Awesome

Yeah I tend to stay away from the dodgy versions of movies that are best watched in the cinema.

Is it true he dosn't say the full "Yippe Ki Yay Mother Trucker" ?!

:O

On the topic of movies, saw the Simpsons, was brilliant. The misses dragged me to Knocked Up, was good - but the birth scene at the end (you'll know what I'm talking about when you see it) ruined it. I had no sex drive for the rest of the night.

Saw it today. Definitely needs to be seen on the big screen. Great action movie but I don't think it has the same feel as the others. Sort of felt like the movie 16 Blocks he just made.

Saw it yesterday and thought it was a pretty good flick. You have to suspend your disbelief pretty far but that pretty much goes without saying for most action flicks.

I'd say my all time worst scene where my disbelief broke was true lies. Loved the flick but when funbags drops the uzi down the stairs in a shootout and it starts spraying bullets everywhere and all the henchmen are fatally wounded, it took a lot of strength not to just walk out at that point.

Bourne Ultimatum, next week I think... now there's the action flick of the year!

I'm normally into movies that make you think as opposed to straight out action, but the whole Die Hard series is great to watch for just really unbelievable action and stuff.

Bring on tonight, I can't wait. Even after nearly having the movie spoilt for me last night by a couple of the guys in #HO who saw it and were deliberately cranking out spoilers to irritate those of us going to see it tonight.

OFLC Rating reasons?

Now I'm disappointed if we don't get the whole thing :( Oh well, when it comes to DVD I might have to do the whole import thing rather than source locally if it has been cut from the US version.

I saw it last night and thought it was fantastic, some of the collisions etc were great - you could get a good feel for the impact. It was actually pretty funny is some areas too.

It was meant to be R rated but they wanted it to "appeal to a greater audience" so they hacked it up.

Movie was fantastic, my very first drive-in experience was great

Bruce Willis is awesome. We appreciated his acting so much we headed back to a mate's place to watch Hudson Hawk afterwards.

I reckon that one is definitely a buy-on-dvd job but I'd like to see the "uncut" version so will probably import.
