I've had this sort of thing happen a couple of time where the return address label used has been much larger than the address label used. I guess the postal or courier services just, and probably reasonably, assume the larger label is the address where it needs to go. It then yoyos back and forth for a while. Things have even arrived in Oz and then returned to the outgoing airport in North America.

Thats what happened, arrived in Sydney on the 20/21 March then headed back to LA via Chicago, and then on to Tokyo...i sent them an email when i seen it back in LA, god knows where it would have ended up if i wasn't watching it...
