Recent trip to Tassie the Ball and Chain grill in Salamanca Pl Hobart and the Hoggs Breath Cafe at the gas works in Macquarie St Hobart are one of the 2 best steak places I have eaten at thick , juicy and melt in the mouth the food seems so much fresher in Tasmania

having just moved to canberra (any recommendations for steak up here) I can agree with you about the ball and chain, its a steak to die for. not agreeing on hogleys but each too their own I guess.

No, Christies closed down years ago, and there's not been anyone able to replicate them!.

La Famiglia in Epping has huge meals and at a decent price, tastes good too.

Got to agree with you there,it is a great place for steaks,but i could'nt believe they dont serve Garlic bread,otherwise a great place been there a few times.
