Default Ordered some Plates!

Hi

I ordered some number plates for the EB on friday, did it over the phone with Vic roads.

Cant wait till they come in, they said up to 10 working days, so next week sometime I hope.

I always manage to order/buy things just before a public holiday, which always causes delays, anyways, just bored so I thought Id post up.

Thanks

There the original plates the car was first registered with, so I want to keep the original lettering, but would look more TUF hehe in black and white.

Plus I get to keep the original green and white plates too..

So you ordered pop plates. I'm hoping to order a set of these too in black but I'll have the front slimline and the rear standard.

Oh yeah should look good. I like the standard front and back. Fill the space on the bar better.

$99 isnt to bad.. considering its $495 for a set of customs.

You know what I just noticed, you'll have to put those LPG tags on your shiney new plates when it's on gas.......

Yeah its not a bad price, I cant bring myself to spending $500 on number plates just yet! That will have to wait till I'm working full time!

I prefer slimline on the front but the rear defiantly needs the standard plate to fill the garnish.

Yeah I have noticed people are 50/50 on the front plates, personally prefer the standard but, and a lot prefer the slim line.

Also cant justify spending $495 on custom plates at the moment, bit of a waste of money. Could spend it on so much more, my LPG conversion isnt even going to cost me $495 and its so much more worth it lol

Well with all the money you'll save on petrol by using gas, you can save up for custom plates!

i ordered plates on firday, got them on tuesday i was stoked.

my old man got the pop plates for his XW. original plates, they wanted to charge extra for black and white. he argued that the car came out with black and white, so he only paid for a set of replacement. $29.90 or something. vic roads is makin a killing off these new plates. anyone seen the price of the signature plates?

I've seen home job painted ones and they look dodge. Plus I'm pretty sure it is illegal to paint them.

$40 for a bike one? Arent they like half the size and theres only one? The white needs to be reflective also. Old general issue ones are also good, there $199. mrcrackers had EBE-302 on his old 5L EB, subtle but still custom

Yeah your right it is illegal to paint your number plates even if the lettering is exactly the same and if the vic is still there and gas plate etc...

Well I must say Im pretty impressed with Vic roads for the first time EVER.

Ordered my plates on Friday that just passed at about lunch time, and I woke up this morning to find them sitting on the kitchen table!

The courier man dropped them off this morning at 8am, prettttttty dam quick, especially for vic roads.
