Question Battery going too quick

(dont know if this is the right place to post it but here goes)

Ok heres the problem

The belts in my EB have started squealing so i decided to leave it sitting in the yard till i have time to work on it

Last time i drove it was Wednesday? I think
since then its been sitting in the yard until monday when i went to start it and the battery was completly dead! i mean not even central locking worked or the interior lamps!

So what could be causing this?
I have put a TV/DVD system in and a pioneer head unit but it doesnt seem to be causing the problem from what i know

I put the stereo system in the day after i got it so i'm unsure if it had this problem from when i bought it, and it was being driven as a daily at that time so it didnt have time to run out

I had the same problem where the battery went dead when i was doing the head gasket in it back a few weeks ago

So could there be something draining the battery that i dont know about?
or could it be the battery it's self thats gone?

The dvd system is connected to the cigarete lighter so it cuts off power to it when the cars off so i highly doubt that would be causing the problem

Anyway thanks in advance for your help

could be the battery isn't holding a charge or the alternator isn't charging it up fully.
charge the battery then get it load tested. check the alternator output.
squeaking belt might be your alternator belt - adjust and/or replace it.

Check load on battery when everything is tuned off ???
Adjust belt, they run very tight.. Due to belt just being big enough...
I would seriousl consider fitting E.L type serointine belt and up grading alternator ...
The std belt only just works with std load...

I have a similar problem with my ea, I don't have the battery drain on me as I try to drive it everyday, but I do have the typical ea squeal. I have just had an amp, 12" sub and new speakers installed all round and I have the squealing. I have replaced my fan belt, but the car only squeals when the volts are below the second line (from the fully charged side). My partner gets in a uses the pressure cleaner and blasts my alternator and that solves the problem for a few days. Another problem could be the power steering pump leaking oil onto the alternator, had that problem to and once we had replaced all the seals in the PS pump the squealing stopped, it has since come back but it is not the PS pump or the belts. New alternator is the next option.

Im going for an AU engine in short time (I doubt the EB one would last when i put boost thru it LOL its already on its last legs and has 246,000kms), Im just trying to work on a quick fix for it so ill just tighten it and see what it does, it wasnt squealing before i messed around with it, i just need to tighten it me thinks

I have a spare battery in that garage ill chuck in for now and see if it makes any differance, dont have the $$$ to buy the dry cell one i want yet
