just wondering if anyone knows if it is fused or runinng on a circuit breaker and weres the relay?

I believe they have a fusible link, but otherwise they just have a relay which is triggered by the ecu. The relay is below the main bank of relays just near the header tank in the engine bay, I'm not 100% sure which one it is though.

hey yeah i replaced the relay with a bosch unit and have put a new fuel pump in and its still doing the same thing, will just die like it has no fuel after about 20-25 minutes of driving, ill have to look at the fusible link, prolly just replace it and if that doesnt work ecu is next

If that's the case then I doubt it has anything to do with the fuel pump, or the ecu for that matter, unless of course you have access to a free ecu... If the fusible link was blown then you'd get no power to the pump, they don't reset like a circuit breaker.
You said it dies after 20-25 mins of driving, does it start up again after it dies? Do you have to do anything out of the ordinary to get it started again? Alex

That sort of thing used to happen in the old days when the breather in the fuel cap got blocked and air could not get into the tank to replace the fuel pumped out creating a vacuum. Car would run for half an hour or so then starve and die. Used to implode the fuel tanks and you'd have to push them out again with compressed air.

I don't think that has ever been an issue with e-series cars though.
