Hey guys,
I own a Ford Falcon Forte AU1 1999 and seem to not have much response when put pedal down! Unless im going over 80 km/h roughly? Any reason for this or has anybody else had the same problem? What should i do? When i rev my parents 1996 Fairmont wagon the acclarrator seems to be much more senstive then my AU???? Im very confused lol! |

Mines much the same, only on take off though, once i get into the rev range, like 3000 it jumps straight up to 3500 and gets off its behind and starts moving.

i know nothing about cars, but i'm taking my au to ford to get a print out of the error codes, mine has issues somewhere along the line. |

Is it a Tbar auto? Coz Ive been driving my old mate AU1 ute arond lately, since I crashed the XR
 : , and ive found it to be pretty good in regards to how hard it goes, although having said that, Ive been using the auto like a manual, and gear shifting as ive been driving....

You failed to mention it was on gas. Is the slow response on gas, or petrol, or both. If only on gas, then you need a gas tune. If on both, then you probably need new plugs/leads/fuel filter/air filter etc.
A T bar is an auto shifter in the centre console, as opposed to a column shift was is the auto trans selector mounted on the steering column (found on 6 seater models).
