Default Badging swap!

Hi all,

I don't know if you remember me saying but for some stupid reason the old owner of our EA put Fairmont Ghia badges on it, yet it's a straight falcon.

Does anyone wanna swap, or have any old Falcon badges spare?

It looks so ridiculous!

Ta

I have a Gli Garnish lying around if you wanted to do an EA to EB rear swap?

The actual GLi badge is slighty damaged, which is why I have on lying around

You might want to try a wrecker if you can't find a swap for your current one.

Ive got about 4 GL badges around here somewhere from my wrecks. Most wreckers would give them away

Just out of interest, why do you wish to swap? It might look stupid, but is it worth the effort. Then again, Jack and Karl have made their Ghias look like GL's.

I suppose it's cos the car needs some work and certainly is NOTHING REMOTELY RESEMBLING a fairmont ghia... E.G. I have to wind the windows up the old fashioned way hehehe so I think it's a big ****. I am not in need of a penis extension as some men seem to need (by rebadging cars) :newangel:

I might check out wreckers.

If you'd asked a few months I would have been able to help, but now I have a full GL and a Ghia garnish, both of which I'll be using at different times. I will check out rare spares for a Laser badge I need though.

No luck with what I was looking for, but.. Rarespares want $32.51 for an EA Ghia badge, $26.55 for an ED XR6 badge, and 16.52-$26 for BA "XR" badges depending on colour, and that is basically all that they have. Bear in mind the EA new cost about $32,000, the ED roughly $37k and the BA over $50 grand in some cases.

Nice to see Ford spares are as logical and reasonable as ever before...
