Touchscreens, CD players, and more

I've been considering something like this in my Focus having already installed a smaller version. I had the very very base model radio in my Focus so it was a nice upgrade but saw these complete vertical screens just like in a Tesla.
I still prefer physical controls for HVAC which I will still have underneath.
The small 8" one I bought was $440 delivered but this is ~$700 and wondering if it's worth an upgrade. I would be losing a CD and DVD player over my current unit but in the 2 years I've had it I never used that function. This one will be faster, instant boot and have a brighter screen.
