Default XR5 dash fault

Hi I just bought a XR5 2010, on two occasion while driving the ABS and DSC light came on and also in the information display the trip odo and trip meter read all zeros, all stayed like that till I turned of and started it again. Any ideas

Yep..its a wheel bearing issue - the bearing has moved in the hub and the sensor is thinking the car is out of control. Issue wont go away. Fix is new hub generally

That is only one possible cause which whilst is a common one could be wrong.

just some of the common faults that can cause this are:
a faulty wheel bearing
incorrect tyre pressures
heavily worn tyres on one axle and not so worn tyres on another
chaffed wiring
ABS sensor starting to die
Crud build up in the trigger ring for the ABS sensor
Dirty MAF sensor
Boost control solenoid starting to give up - replace with the metal Elevate item.

Have it diagnosed properly by a workshop before spending out money on parts from a forum diagnosis.
