Probably the same thing that posessed low lives here to dismember and I think they also beheaded a local seal here. So local was this seal they commisioned a statue in his honour.

In Kaikoura, 25 seals were clubbed to death in December.

All of it, especially that part just above has made me very very cranky to put it in a AFF way, very very sickening, but hey, KARMA is a *****

The seal is still alive. Just that the authorities have taken it to Auckland Zoo to recover.

Actually now that you mention it I'd rather they had beaten Oprah then the seal. but I was referring to the Moscow bombing (killing lost of people), the floods (killing thousands of animals and a few people). One seal getting beaten while horrific and completely uncalled for is nothing compared to what goes on both in and out of public view on a daily basis.

Reminds me of that bloke who tortured and dismembered that little Jack Russell a while back called "Peanut" in Cairns. The same bloke who did that jumped twice off the bridge at Rocky while it was in full flood the other week, prompting a rescue and risks by the emergency dept's. They do that in Canada and Norway by the 100's of thousands, it's sanctioned.

I don't condone it, I actually think the act is cruel, unnecessary and not reflective of acceptable hunam behaviour, all I'm saying - this stuff goes on elsewhere on a massive scale.

I kid I kid, sad that its a real thing we have to live with. Some people just aren't worthy of the air they breathe.

Like yesterday on Aus day, my mate was walking back to the beach party, got set upon by 6 Aboriginals because they thought he was someone else, only after he pushed one away after getting hit a few times did they realise it wasn't who they thought it was and left laughing. Bastards dissapeared off the face of the planet after that cause we couldn't find em again, bloody cowardly dogs.
