Would that be the Joss Supercar you're thinking of Cheese3 ? You never know, that might be the prototype of their next car.

From that pic, it looks nothing like an F1 car - they don't have a roof, more Leman prototype.
Was it registered or have a trade plate?

That looks like an RCR Superlite coupe (SL-C)

Here’s a few details.

It probably is the RCR. I thought that it may have been the Redback when I first saw the photo.

It is none of the cars mentioned in this thread( RCR, Joss , Redback and Ultima). The rear of that vehicle is not very professionally finished off. It still would be good to know what is.

Very much doubt that since only two road going versions were ever made and are in Nissan's Zama warehouse.

Positive.

They had to build at least one road going car so it could compete in Le Mans but built two and as my previous post said they both reside in Nissan's car museum. There were also 8 chassis built over the two years it competed in Le Mans and I HIGHLY doubt that one of them would find itself outside of a museum/collector and in Australia.
