The driver's seat belt adjuster on my MA tdci is stuck. It's at the top of the slide, and will not move down. Passenger side works just fine. (6ft 3in son put it there - I'm 5ft 10 and in danger of strangling!!)
Any ideas?? Thanks. |

I believe they replaced the tensioner but I could be wrong (it was two years ago). |

Hi all,
I tried the adjustment on mine today and discovered that adjustment was possible if the belt was fully retracted but not when it was partially or fully extended. Might be done this way to discourage fiddling with the belt extended and whilst moving. I was able to adjust the height of the top anchor point when standing outside the car. Something to try? Cheers

I've tried everything I can think of, including standing outside. Just the drivers' side belt is affected. The passenger side slides up and down freely.
It's within warranty - so I'll put it in. Nuisance to be without the car for a day tho'. Thanks all for the suggestions. |

If you can live with it, wait until you get it serviced. I tend to report these issues before hand, and make sure that the company knows there is a fault and they made need parts on hand. I will even take it to them for an assessment prior so that they can order parts. |
