sucked in to him. I can't stand poeple that "televise" there antics. How many times now have you seen a story relating to a youtube or something arrest due to a fool doing a skid or wannabe drift etc in an unsafe manor or area.

I went looking for him on facebook but he is all but gone.

I am sure he is proud to be in the news as are his friends. I am sure they are celebrating with a slab of green death as we speak. Still he should be used as a poster boy for abortion.

Poor mum, her son has health problems and the police are picking on him. This is my opinion only, but I think he health issues are in the head region.

Quote:

Maybe the loss of his left hand has caused the frustration. Time to learn with your right hand lad.

Typical, do something wrong and poor me syndrome.

I also noticed someone had stolen his rear alloy wheels, maybe this made him mad and thats why he did the burn outs. :

Serves him right, some people are so dumb.

You'd think after losing your arm in a car accident the last thing you'd want to be doing is a burnout in the middle of an intersection :

the police keep it and its handed to TAC i believe.

if the car has a loan on it, the loan is payed out by the auction price, wahtever is left is up to the owner to pay.

dumb thing to do, but a $21,000 fine is really excessive and over the top in my opinion. The lesson, based on CHEETR's response, only do it if you are in arrears on your car loan payments :-)

Posting video of yourself doing illegal activity is exceedingly dumb. You wouldn't post a video of yourself doing drugs or stealing stuff, both of which have lesser penalties attached, so why would you do this.

I'm not defending this guy, but as said before an effective $21,000 fine for doing a burnout in an empty car park, I think is harsh.

The 1st article noted that police have impounded more than 8000 vehicles under hoon laws, and I'm still waiting for the corresponding drop in the road toll.

It's the old chestnut....I just think the cops have run out of ideas to stop the road toll.

Police are removing around 50 dangerous drivers from our roads every week which can only make it safer for other drivers, he said.

There you have it......atleast 50 lives a week saved on our roads.

I for one am thankfull to the police for keeping the children safe and taking such dangerous people off our roads.....

All while letting real dangerous criminals off with a slap on the wrists and Pedophiles re-inserted into communities. So a big thank you to the Australian legal system, Its unique, if only for its retarded outlook and procedures

The laws are put in place for the safety of the people.

He knew them, he broke them.

Call it harsh, but his contempt for the law equally harsh.

There I was thinking an XR6 couldn't rip the skin off a rice pudden.

Amazing what a set of worn out 205's will allow.

One car lost to the Gov is bad, but losing a second, for the same thing, is just plain thick.

19 years ago, at a B&S, I witnessed a young girl get hit by a V8 ute circle working in a paddock. While she was not seriously hurt - pretty bad bruising from the side of the ute knocking her for six - as it was ripping doughnuts, I then realised things can go wrong.

I Personally am glad this happens to idiot drivers. Motor sport I.e Drag racing, burnouts, track work belongs on on a track or specially suited venue.

It's dic****ds like that, that mean i get pulled over 3 times on my way home from work (I do on a regular basis).

Now i dont mind modded vehicles that are road legal, but when on a public road have some self control.

Everytime a motoring enthusiast turns into a knob it reflects badly on the rest of us.

This story has been blown up by the media and the police officer involved. I know this fella quite well and these skids were done before his EB was taken. it had nothing to do with facebook either. His headcase female housemate cut a deal with the police over a pretty big theft charge and took a cd with the videos on it to police in a bid to keep her working with children check. The copper involved has changed the story to make himself look like some kind of hero also.

"Saved 50 lives"? Thats drawing a pretty long bow. Thats about 2600 lives a year (and thats only in Vic!)...Sheet,on that basis the road toll will be soon be zero!

See. Two sides to every story, although this one sounds a lot closer to the truth.
