It hasn't happened but how do you tip fuel in if it runs out??

jerry can via adaptor under spare tyre near jack

Thanks apstar I had a look in there and its missing I guess I will mention it at the 3000k service.

I had a look myself as I didn't know about the funnel, and mine is missing also. I'll flag it with service and the salesman. I referred to the manual and it shows that it is supplied.

Check if its not in the glovebox first some dealers take it out from the spare wheel well together with the wheel security nut

My PEtrol Mondeo ran out on highway only a couple of days after I bought it. (fuel guage was faulty).
I had to get it towed as there is no adaptor provided.

The petrol models should have an adaptor? I don't know why but I thought it was diesels being referred to above.

Its petrol and there is no adaptor. Do diesel models have the same filler no cap to unscrew before filling up?

The diesel models have an adapter to allow you to use large diameter pump nozzles. But of course this won't fit the petrol Mondeo.

You'd think someone out there would make a suitable adapter.
