Question smartlock programing on 1995 ef

Hello! Hope someone can help me with programing a second hand smartlock key pad to my 1995 ef gli. tryed turning the key onto acc and pushing the boot release 3 times and nothing happened. dont have owners manual to use as reference.

Hi
I think for EF/EL that you press rear demister 3 times door locks will cycle
then press door button on the remote (your original remote)
then repeat on your s/h remote

Thanks for the info, got it down packed with the programing but can anyone tell me if you can program more than one smartlock pad to the same car?

yeah u can, just repeat the same way. turn key to acc and push rear demister button 3 times, then push a button. can do 4 or 5 iirc
