Customizer transformers edgy Bimmer into retro roadster

Russia's Volga has built a customized version of the BMW 6-Series with a completely new exterior. Perhaps even more dramatic than the Fisker Latigo, the Volga V8 Roadster leaves no original external sheetmetal. Previously, the Russian company re-bodied a BMW 8-Series for what it called the V12 Coupe. This new 'roadster' features the standard 6-Series interior, including all four seats.

Thats pretty cool.
Are these the same guys who are building aluminium and copper bodied hot rods for an american company? I saw something on 'beyond tomorrow' a while ago, it looks like the same factory. http://www.kirkhammotorsports.com/m/

there was a volga built with beamer driveline etc a few years ago, but it was a coupe. is this the same car with the roof lopped off?

Wouldnt be real good as a stealth car as it looks nothing like an origional volga!

Impressive. BUT, it looks like it should be a smaller car. It looks silly in the pic with a driver... just too big.

And I have to say I don't much care for the aesthetics of it... but still, looks like a very decent job has been made of it!
