Is the 180 a ca18det or a sr20det ? I used to drive the 1.8ltr turbo, and it would easily take a falcon. (stock)

Suprisingly the Type-S still fetch very good money today as they are so rare, yet i still see no point in buying a n/a 4 banger import.

The blacktop SR20DET replaced the redtop in 1994 :voldar02:
While I was aware of the Typ S available from 96 onwards, I didnt think they qualified under the SEVS scheme as they didnt meet the power/weight ratio required. But if i'm wrong I've learnt something new ;)

If there is any in Aus, I would have thought they would have been private imports from people living in Japan for more than 12 months.

Like T Terror I once owned a 180 and with only an aust, pod filter and button clutch it pulled a 13.6 1/4 at Calder. The boost was standard.

Absolutely no chance mate, sorry!

I'm not too sure which scheme the majority of them came over under, but due to the government changing their policy so often over the past few years in regards to imports, they would fit in somewhere.

But i definantly know there are a few of them around, obviously not too many as they are pointless without the snail attached to them :nutsycuck
