That is incorrect. Full fee paying international students help subsidise our kids education.

In regard to Universities I want to know why so many of their employees are casual. Casual employment should be a transition period to permanent, not a long term arrangement.

Sure...in the ideal world a bit like the federal govt
collects the medicare rebate and apportions an
amount to the states for health.

But the states aren't compelled to use it in any particular way
as it is in consolidated revenue.

I am confident, from conversations I have had,
( a family member on staff at Sydney and another at Latrobe) that my comment is correct.
