Default resetting computer

hey guys i have noticed that when i reset the computer the car runs better for few days whilst its learning the cam then it sorta doesnt go aswell after that!! could this be due to the computer learning the cam and supplying more fuel thus less performance???

isnt it the ther way around?
woudnt it be suppplying less fuel at the start which is the reason for better performance and as it adjusts to big cam it puts more fuel in which means less performance???

Mine (bearly) runs after ecu reset. 20 minutes after it runs ok (but rich). After a week it is good.

I have a feeling that the chiptorque makes the relearning process longer.

What mods do you have?

then follow a set procedure for the computer to relearn.

2 mins in D with A/c on
2 mins in D with A/c off
2 mins in N with A/c on
2 mins in N with A/c off

Then take car for a drive utilising different throttle positions.

Dont have to 'tell' it to relearn - it's just better letting them do this in the safety of your garage/driveway as opposed to EEC letting revs drop too low in the middle of a roundabout (been there done that, lol).

BTW full throttle has no effect on the car's maps. EEC only learns to fill the gaps in cruising maps and i believe in the case of pre-AU can only learn about fueling.

Of course, on your way to 100% throttle you inevitably pass 25% 50% 75% etc... who says you cant teach an old computer new tricks eh? lol
