I would be looking at getting a Hilux diff built up for it. Probably possible with a Borg Warner but the Hilux diffs seem to have the edge in strength.

I second the hilux diff, they measure in at 8 3/4" so only marginally smaller than a nine inch but for a decent price difference

Gday, I currently have a Hilux diff to suit a Mk2 for sale. Its been modified to fit by moving the spring hangars. It has Rx7 Disc brakes included but no centre.
I purchased this to suit a cosworth or a turbo pinto setup, these are rather tough and will take 400hp. The axles are huge. All it needs doing is having the stud pattern changed as I have welded up original holes to convert to escort. Shoot me a PM for more details, Cheers
