Default Looking for Telstra T-box owners

Hey there, recently we decided to get both the T-box and T-hub. The T-hub has been fine and is actually a great bit of gear however the T-box is proving to be a bit of a pain. First one we got would just decide to stop putting out any signal at all through HDMI from time to time, after changing between the 4 ports on the TV it would do the same thing. Got that sent back and now this second one decides it doesn't want to give us good TV reception, however once we plug the aerial straight in the TV the picture is fine between all channels. We have a 46 inch Sony Bravia LCD so I assume there shouldn't be any compatibility issues at all. Just curious to know who has one and if they have had any issues at all? I'm hoping this thread doesn't turn into a Telstra bashing fest thanks

Hmm thats odd I work for Telstra and usually it's the other way round with the T hub being the source of bugs.
This is the first i've seen of T box failure so far.

Yeah all ready done that, using the cable that came with the second one currently. Its got us stumped since surely there can't be issues with the two separate T-boxes

My wife also works there, even the numerous tech assistants can't figure it out. She'll have to see where we go from here at work soon

Lots of complains about the T-box on Whirlpool, check there in the Bigpond section, might have some answers for you.

I’m not a big fan of the Telstra T-box. Too noisy inside and not enough room to change in.

How do you guys mean with bugs on the T-hubs? The worst we've copped was it froze one morning but a switch off/on sorted it out. Do they experience dramas from the get go or develop them?

I also have s Sony Bravia (40 inch) and have a similar problem with T Box. I reset the box when it happens. I feel it could be the Bravia as sometimes my free to air Digital fails but works on other tv is the house.
