Default WS exhaust upgrade

Has anyone fitted a full exhaust system to their fez yet?

I'm thinking that a full extractor to tail pipe system is in order and didn't know if there is an off the shelf kit available in oz yet.

I was told by a local exhaust joint that they would do a full system for about $1100. $600 for the extractors and $500 for the exhaust all fitted. Thats pretty expensive but $900 would be more on the money I would think.

So any one done it yet?

That is bloody cheap, the Mountune and PumaSpeed full exhausts are about 1000-1400 euros then you gotta add in conversion rates, shipping and import tax plus fitting.

Just out of curiosity, what size are you going to go? They don't seem to have any information on the proven pumaspeed and mountune exhausts.

Not sure what size I'm going that's why i was seeing if anyone had done it yet

Their systems sound throaty yet quiet and manageable rather than the usual buzz box burrrrrr.

If anyone can find specs of sizes and what not Ill most likely give it a go.

I just got my exhaust done on my WP, it was more for sound and slightly better breathe flow than performance, but i do hope to get get it out on a track day sometime soon,

I got a 4" XForce sports exhaust done with a chrome dump pipe done for $180 for parts and labour

I'll try and take some pics and put up a link to a youtube video

4"?

I'm new to 4 bangers but thought that a 2.25" mandrel bent exhaust would be the likely size?

Just checked that 1000 Euro is currently $1456.45. That's outrageous for a sports exhaust with extractors but it would be about right for a shop like herrod.

No its just very bassy, doesnt really change note after 3000 rpm, and there is isnt much of a growl to the exhaust, its kinda basically a consistent louder version of a CAI,

Hope ive it described well enough for u

Not too sure wat u mean by popping on over run though

Most exhaust's especially the mini cooper s while you let go of the accelerator there is a pop(sound) from the exhaust thats what i want for my car
i like your exhaust tho, might pop in an exhaust shop soon
