I now own a 2001 Holden Jackaroo SE 4cyl 3L Turbo Diesel, yes I know its a holden but it was cheap enough and so far I am very happy with it.
Its only 118kw at the fly wheel about 85rwkw (I have heard) but it does have 333nm of torque from 2,000rpm to redline.

Hopefully you get a buyer for it, Jason. If someone gets it at that price, they'll have scored an absolute bargain.

It might have rego till the end of the month from memory it expires on the 30th, so as good as no rego, but I can double check.

If the rego ran out within the last 3 mths you can just go in and pay it.. Think like this Lisa gives you the money for 6 - 12 mths rego ... you go pay it. Sell car to her and fill in transfer sheet. Lisa drives the car home and takes it to Vic roads or her own rego place in n.s.w. She has to pay the transfer fees then.. then Lisa has 3 mths to supply a road worthy slip on that car or the rego is suspended until she gets one. From the day you sell it and then Jason takes the slip to Vic roads Lisa will have 3 mths to get it road worthy up there ..... the pro rata rego money left will go to Lisa. Hope ya sell it to someone here then some fool who will crash/trash it . Cheers Swanny

The eldest has been keen on this car from the first time he saw it a long time ago. His Laser needs rego next month as well so it will be a matter of what this needs compared to how much the laser will cost (read: little laser is going to take a huge amount of work) to re-register. When he gets home this arvo we will sit down & do a few figures ;) |

All done signed sealed and delivered, EA2BA has a new owner and they do plan to register it and so with any luck it will still be doing the rounds for a few more years.
