Great news.

Interesting to note the (lack of) sponsorship on those cars compared to today's V8 Supercars. I'll take one of the "PackLeader" cars any day!

Ordered mine last week - Johnson / Bowe Bathurst winner - it'll be released later this year.

JC, I'll think you will find that the Seton car is lacking the Peter Jackson sponsorship, which they aren't allowed to replicate. Which is a real shame because it does lack the authenticity.

Not a good pic but you get the idea

Yeh, I'd like to see the road cars also done, obviously the EBGT and the Sprint, but a stock EBXR8 would also be good given it was the V8 comback for the Falcon in Oz - even the first EBXR6 I reckon would be a seller.
Yes, I'm also biased - already collecting parts to turn 1 into a scale replica of my EB too.

Why bother releasing the Seton cars with the lack of PJ signage?

The stupid thing about the lack of signage and the absurb ruling from the Government is that a few years ago (before all these Scale cars become so collectable) Tamiya made a 1:24 plastic model of the RS500 Sierra. All you had to do was walk into your local Hobby Shop and buy this kit, (and later on the Godzilla GTR) Buy the righthand drive dashboard and with some paint and the right decals you could build whatever version you wanted.

It was an Australian company who made the decals - yep you guessed it "Peter Jackson, Benson & Hedges, Winfield" were all available - I built them all and you know what I never had one cigarette whilst doing it.

There are a lot of people who have brought the Peter Brock cars and made up their own "Marlboro" Stickers - without then they just don't look the same.
