Ford's biggest eZine yet!!!

I just got an promo email from Ford. I gather something for being signed up on their website and not something I mind at all. Its the only email I have received in about a month. The only problem is, it proves how deep in the sand - Ford's marketing departments heads are!

Hello and welcome to a bumper edition of Ford eZine. In this issue we take a look at how the 2008 AFL season may pan out. We have very exciting tour news for the popular Australian band, the Rogue Traders, great ideas for anyone who’s in the mood for a spot of Sunday lunch in the country and spend time with Libby Gore behind the wheel of the Focus Coupé-Cabriolet.

We had some terrific feedback on our first eZine and so we’d like to say a big thank you to everyone who let us know what they thought of it. If there’s something that interests you in this issue, be sure to let us know. After all, the better we get to know what you’re interested in, the better your eZine will become.

Now is that really their top priorities??? Bugger-me!

must say, fords marketing strategy is very underwhelming.

yeah just looked at that e-mail myself.......for a company who are about to release "their best car ever" i would've thuought it'd be at the top if the page. Fords whole marketing plan seems to rely on sneek peeks and 'leaked' photos.

Its like the tv adds they had on during the cricket. People dont give a about cricket when they see a ford add, they wanna see cars.

I'm a Territory owner, but interested in the new FG range. Wasn't much about it in there at all. Waste of email space.

I have said it before, and I'll say it again. Ford and Marketing are 2 words that don't belong together. Got the same email, and it was as insipring as a pizza menu. Well done Ford. :
