ba clutch in AU

Hopefully some advise please, I have had (13mths ago) a BA turbo flywheel, clutch and pressure plate fitted behind my Au, recently I ended up with no clutch which made changing gears rather difficult.I pulled the box out thinking the clutch needed replacing, how-ever the problem was a seized thrust bearing. The thrust bearing that was put in by the gearbox shop appears to be a hybrid of a couple of different cars, the bearing itself isn't from an Au and the bearing holder is from neither a Ba or an Au. If anyone else has done this mod could you please let my know what type of thrust bearing you used. I do have gears and drive now, but I'm getting clutch slip above 3000rpm, the pressure plate bolts are torqued up to the correct nm and the flywheel/pressure plate are fine and not warped, I think the combo of the thrust bearing and holder are to long which is what is giving me the problem.

Could you post some pics. Someone maybe able to give you more of an idea what bearing you have if they see it.
