I like what's happening with XB prices. Not that my GT would be worth anything remotely near that. I'm missing too many little bits and peices.

yes mate i'm certainly glad i've already got a pair of yellow xb's already. wont be adding to the collection at these prices. surely would be worth your while chasing all those bits while xb wrecks are still available...? they may be like trying to buy xy parts in a few years time, unfortunately already moving that way especially on ebay.

I'm still kicking myself. When I bought the GT there was an XB GS up for sale in orange for $1500. I couldn't be bothered driving out there so gave it a miss. :

Geezus, can't believe the XB Sedan went for so much!! That's gotta be a record. Just makes me look back on all those missed opportunities, I'll kick myself to death if I'm not careful!!

It's a very serious price. Clearly it pays to have ALL the little bits on the car if you want to sell for the highest possible amount.

XBs for $100k within 6 months? Surely they'd have to push the good XAs along in front of them if they continue to climb.

It makes sense, there are better cars than the black one out there (eg. big port coupes with all the fruit).

As far as I know, I would have to agree. Especially for a 74 Small Port.

I can’t believe that any of them went for that much.
