After degreasing the engine the speedo went erratic and has now stopped. used to work fine when car warmed up after 30 min running. definatley a result of water. Hold light is flashing and there is no odometer either. Have dried out most connectors however can't find where the wiring travels to the gearbox. Have taken out battery and Air filter box to get a better look. Car is running fine. Any ideas appreciated

if the dash is digital there will be a sender where a speedo cable would be fitted into the gearbox if it were analog
