Very simple.. Usually there is 6 connectors on the xover..

+ & - Input (In)
+ & - Woofer Output (W or L)
+ & - Tweeter Output (T or H)

Headunit or amp into IN connectors..
6.5" Woofer to W or L Output
Tweeter to T or L Output..

Make sure you get your polarities correct.. That is your +'s to +'s and -'s to -'s..

Cheers,
Nik

It doesn't matter they just put 2 +'s and 2 -'s to make it easy to install in different applications or piggyback the speakers..

Small spade is the negative (-) and large one is the positive (+)..

Nik

do 6.5'' (woffer) splits fits straight into the existing place where the other speaker was. also just curious where are you placing your tweeters. also dose anyone know the maxium depth that can replace the existing in door speaker without modification??

no 6.5" splits do not fit in the original hole. I've got 6" and i had to bend the metal a little bit to fit the woofer in the hole.

and wouldn't have a clue about the door speaker bit sorry.

P.S ROOSTA, the splits are in and working cheers for the help.

cheers troy

Hey,

Great to hear they are running.. excuse the pun.. LOL..

Stock speaker holes in ea-eb were 4" with a max depth of ~60mm
Stock speaker holes in an ebII-ed were 6" with max depth of ~60mm..

Any deeper and you will get scratching on your windows or in your tint..

It is possible to fit deeper speakers in by using appropriate thickness spacers.. but no more than about 6mm until it starts warping the door trim..

Cheers,
Nik
