i can only launch it well when im not trying...lol...when ever i try i just end up in a cloud of smoke....ha ha....and no i dont mean im frying the clutch :P i think i can do the shifts fast enuf though...i can do it so fast that its borderline on almost missing...ha ha.....ill end up with all my runs over 16secs :P and ill blame it on something poor like the stickers on my bonnet caused to much resistance...

does anyone know a good rev range i should launch it at? and how to launch a manual?do you use handbrake or just clutch it or?

im gonna struggle getting off the line clean. my tyres are bald as. and i hate driving in shoes aswell haha. im gonna have to practice my launches before i go fo sure

im gonna see if i can make it. If not mick you can borrow my stockies. They dont have much tread but they'll do. but if i go i will need them :evil3: but ill know friday for sure if i will be attending.

Will be bit nervous being my first time down the strip. but ive had the car for a bit now so i know how to drive it haha

well im definitely going.checked the account and i should be ok to scrape through til next pay...lol...now to find a helmet....

also my tyres are bald as aswell...so ill probably just spin on the spot and go nowhere...lol....

You can do that all you want, but when you're out there it's a totally different animal. The track surface is a heap different to a street surface.

Just a friendly tip from someone who's had a little experience down the 1/4 ;)

Isn't the track suppose to be more grippier then the street roads?
thats what im hoping anyway haha cause i tried a few fast take offs today and it didnt go like i imagined it would lol... wheelspin...

anyone got any tips how to launch a manual 8??

track is treated with a compound that helps grip, it id definatley than launching on the street, just try different combos till you find the right one

for the last 2weeks they have said shower or two and it hasnt even rained.so unless it looks snowed in then im still goin....

like the massive storm warnings we got last night for hail and damaging winds....all we got was a sprinkling of rain....lol
