I've had 3 so far, and they're probably the most nerve racking.

VET music exam, theatre studies monologue, VCE group music.

Bit of a pain with theatre.. You basically act out a mono piece (about 1 1/2 pages of script) to 3 examiners (same with all 3 exams) for about 7 minutes. The bad thing with theatre is they know the script and if you stuff up, then you're screwed. With Drama, you write you're own script, so if you miss a line, no biggy (already done drama last year).

Still to come; Design Tech (wood, cos I couldn't do metalwork), English (need to read the book tomorow, before friday), Music written/aural (test ears with scales etc, and theory work), theatre written, and history.

Oh, and not to get big headed, but we didn't something pretty cool with music. Put Texas Chainsaw Massacre up on a projector behind us whilst we did sound scape/score to it. Make all trippy noises and stuff with the drums/cymbals/mics, home made intruments, waaaay distorted bass with sythns and home made intruments. Even though the examiners can't say anything, they looked really impressed, and I bet no-one else did it!

Finally, my last year, final exams are here. Three years in the making...and I only have two to contend with in my final semester (one is a take home exam...but that is essentially an assignment).

Bring on November 16th at 11:30 and I will be finished with my uni course!!!!

Exams on Saturday WTF?

I hate early starts too. I think there was some talk about moving the start times for schools forward an hour or so. Vaguely recall hearing somewhere. All I know is I would be all for it.

I don't study at all. I've never taken notes in class aswell. All that time is free for me to do what I want. I have no idea how I do it, but I have got excellent grades my whole life.

Wait till you hit the real world... you can't just sit at your desk/go out in the field and get to the end of the day and think all the work will be complete on its own accord.

Well we will see. I'm not lazy or anything, far from it I've just seem to absorb the work quite well.

If I'm bored enough I give myself little projects. Maybe I just don't consider it study because I enjoy it.

I am starting to wonder lately is the work too easy or does it just come naturally to me?

I've got hours; perphaps even days of i-lectures to listen to before my exams. Well, it serves me right for not showing up to any lectures this semester :

For the last few weeks I may aswell as not of shown up. I wake up late, battle through peak hour traffic and everything they teach I could of taught myself at home.

It's a 50km round trip and a turbo car in peak hour traffic aint good for petrol lol!

Well thought I'd pump up an older thread. Had my first of four tests this week. It was C++ and I killed it very easily.

They call the unit "Introduction to Object Orientated Programming" but I think of it as "Introduction to introduction to OOP" lol!

Tommorow is Java 2 which I will pass.

Then on Thursday is "Requirements Analysis and System Planning Analysis" which I am sure to fail.

I'm going to be a code monkey, I couldn't care about that crap lol.

Last exam tomorrow (today) at 1:30PM - Law of Evidence.

Then I have 3 more subjects in my final year next year which will be my 7th at uni. I ******* hate the place and the BS that is undergraduate study.

Oh well, two degrees and 7 years later I should come into the workforce on 30K. And who says lawyers get paid...?

2 exams down and 3 to go
Chemistry (69%, sat 845am), Marine Science (45%, mon 115pm), Maths (65%, thu 845am). Maths is the only non multiple choice... If I don't ace atleast one of the above exams then I wont be happy :(
Passing all 3 will be easy... getting a decent pass is something different.

Just had my Java 2 exam then. Pretty sure I passed but it didn't go as smooth as I would of hoped.

First off I was late, so I had to spend exam time setting up the programs. All well in good except it stuffed up on 2 computers which cost me a lot of time.

Plus all the toolbars, windows, etc made it almost impossible to easily type up my code when I finally got it to setup

I felt pretty good though because there were people next to me and when the time was up, they had compile errors and what not.

I forgot to put a message box in but it's no big deal because it was only to say the SQL update was successful.

So that should be a pass but only just. Tommorow is make or break. 2 tests and they will be hard as. If it don't pass and fail the resit, I will have to do 32 weeks (combined subjects) instead of 16 weeks.

Oh man what a start to the day!

I would be celebrating except my pay hasn't gone through and I got a $900 tax bill due tommorrow :jab:

"open book".. ie, no amterials allowed in with us but we have unlimited access to anything electronic, including every lecture note from where the material has come from... 100 questions in 3 hours... this topic is a joke... the exams worth 45%.... should be easy to pass and pass it well... then i've got maths left on thursday and im a FREE man for 3 months

What I found laughable was that they expected us to do calculations manually, in a subject where they emphasize that time is of huge importance. We wouldn't be expected to do the maths like that in the real world. I for the life of me can't do long division.

I tried learning it again but yeah just wasn't happening. I had a bit of a blue with the teacher about it because we weren't being tested on our mathematical skills in the test but nonetheless I got a credit.

I'm one of the calculator generation :
