Well posted mate.
I myself have never done it, but being on the receiving end of a massive fine it stopped my in my tracks. But if i hadnt have been stopped i may have ended up less fortunate that afternoon. Every time i think of doing something massively stupid, i think of that day. Again well done for posting it on here.

Something like this should be compulsory for all first offenders.
Throwing out fines and confiscating licenses for first offences just creates anger and repeat offenders in the end. |

not always. generally if someone cops a large fine, that acts as a deterrent. Like I said i have had a few misshaps myself, copped fines, and that has made me more aware that if I break traffic rules by speeding, running a stop sign, whatever, the fine is all the more the deterrant in my book.
