Hi Guy's
I don't suffer from depression but do have a few friends who do. i under stand Depression and have times in my life when i thought i was rock bottom such us the loss of my house in a divorce to a lady who had a drinking problem and having to start all over at the age of 40 years old way back then. fast forward to 2024 when my Mondeo was written off. it could have been repaired The bonnet was out of line, the radiator was smashed, the Air Conditioning Condenser was smashed. When i talked to the Insurance Company because they told me there was $8,00 dollars worth of damage i offered to buy the wreck back from them and they said " once its written off thats it no going back". As i closed the door of my car that day after cleaning it out i kissed it and said sorry. for a few nights after that i had visions of it sitting in a wrecking yard waiting to be dismantled and that made me really sad. I know it sounds stupid because its just a car but to me it was my baby. I drive my wifes VE Commodore Wagon now its very nice Leather Interior, goes well but i dont have the same feeling, the Mondeo was part of me thats now gone. The great thing about this site is you can let off some steam, get things off your chest and people listen so thanks for listening guys. |
