Default Re: Skiing in Australia-FAIL

Reading this is so disheartening. How can a young family do anything without calling their bank manager for a loan first?

Skiing was expensive 10 years ago and those prices blew me away.

I simply wouldn't give them the satisfaction of going. In regards to going overseas that is spot on. I have already been overseas twice this year, once alone, another time with my older daughter and I'm leaving in a few days again with my second daughter.

I can get cheap flights, stay at decent hotels for not much coin, eat like a king, hire a car or scooter for the week for nix and enjoy the scenery and do everything fun with the kids or on my own without guilt.

With everything going up on a weekly basis even the 'cheaper' holiday options are getting out of hand.
