I got a temporary pay rise today backdated to the 1st until at least the end of April in recognition of all the extra **** I'm doing in and have on my plate.
Always good to have a boss that goes into bat for you and also good when a stroke of luck means you have the higher ups that get it.
Though I suspect they are buttering me up for a role I certainly don't want, I will enjoy the extra pesos in the meantime and cross that bridge when I get to it
