A week ago our old border collie decided she'd had enough. She had been going downhill for a while but she was eating well even though she slept a lot of the time or just lay out on the verandah watching what we were doing. In between those we lost a chook too. I hate 2020! It's been very interesting watching how the other horses and dogs have reacted. They are not happy either.

Yeah,had a 13 1/2 year old beagle who developed a serious growth in his throat.Got to the stage he just couldn’t breath properly,so we had to let him go.His little heinz mate didn’t know what was going on,kept going to the old fellas bed looking for him.Probably took a couple of weeks or more before he seemed resigned to the fact that ole mate wasn’t coming back.Even now nearly 6 months later he still still gets a bit sooky at times
