I had me ears lowered last week, new barber, haven't used before, showed him my licence photo, and said I want it like the photo!

Walked out wet, looked OK, dried to a nice "cocky comb" asked during conversation if he was Croatian?.....no I'm Persian, oh nice place Persia, he said you been to Persia, I said it don't exist now as Persia does it, him angry barber, so me being the smartarse asked if he every visited Philadelphia?......never been to Philadelphia he said, never been to America, I said, no Philadelphia in Persia, he said no Philadelphia in Persia, I said the "city of brotherly love" he said you pay cash or card, I said do you want card or black money?....he said black, I said, no, you never been to Philadelphia and never will!....

Any YT of you rocking out, for us yet?

I'm not one for YT'ing.
I do a bit of home recording (guitar, bass, drums and vocals but not too many people get to hear the result / noise :lol )

Pretty happy with the Boss amp though. LP sounds nice through the clean channel with a bit of delay and reverb. I've not looked into it too deep yet but there is an option to connect a laptop via USB and tap into the full collection of BOSS effects pedals online. I don't normal like crossing the boundaries of music and modern tech too much other than actual recording but I am intrigued.

I had one of those chrome strips all around my TX5 Ghia. I bought some tape and used that instead so something to consider if the paint doesn't work out :)

Well I've spent a fair bit of time fixing this plastic chrome strip, and I had it just about perfect, so no crack showing under top coat, I used acrylic spray filler and primer, top coat silver is enamel, so you can paint enamel over acrylic but not acrylic over enamel, unless you use a sealer!

Stupidly I decided to sand the topcoat a bit smoother and wiped it down with "Shellite" I don't use wax remover, only 100% hydrocarbon or Shellie.
Wiped it down after sanding, took the silver enamel straight off, what did I do?........walked away, got in car, went to Dan Murphy's and bought a six pac of Bundy and coke.....:yelrotflm

Today's a brand new day, will put a pic of finished product, one good thing though, it may look like metal, but it don't rust:yelrotflm

Eight hours’ unbroken sleep. Only medication 2x500mg paracetamol.

This is probably a record for the last couple of years. I’d forgotten what it was like to not wake up tired.

Re: What made you feel good today?

So i was on the phone to my brother today. He has asked for a hand working on his car on friday. So by hand its more a second set of eyes and borrowing my tools. So more or less i spend that time criticising everything he does.
Anyhow, he has a smoker. He's a good cook. Yes smokers take their sweet **** time to cook, but things always end up good.
So the plan is ribs, but a home made glaze. So no recipe, just winging it. So what we know is, wrap an onion in alfoil and smoke it and they go super soft and sweet. So the so far plan is to do that. Then slap that in the blender with some tinned tomatos, worstorshire sauce and chilli.
Aim being to use the sweetness of the onion as opposed to pre made marinades which typically have a fair amount of sugar in them. But by winging it, being able to add stuff if required, it should be a pretty good feed.

Re: What made you feel good today?

The one outlying thing on the smoker. So i dont typically eat chicken as it gives me flatulence, my brother doesnt drink beers because he is gluten intollerant and anyhow.
Beer can chicken.
I have a meat market near by so a fresh non frozen chook is pretty eazy to get.
So rub the outside of the chook in paprika and spices. Get good beer in a can, more booze the better. My choice is bent spoke sprokets, theyre about 8% alcho booze. Drink half the can and shove the can up the dead chooks clacker. Slap that on the smoker and it makes for the best chicken ever.

I've done this a few times in the weber.
My favourite version was not with a beer though, I used a can of Solo.
Cant go too big with the chicken when using the weber though because you want the lid to close properly

You cannot go too big with the chook regardless if you dont want to wait more then a couple hours for it.
But if you have the time, its a good way of doing chicken.

My 1 signature bbq dish. This always goes down well as a side. So, do the snags on the flat plate and leave the sausage grease. Get a tin of baby potatoes but make sure there the cheapest crappiest ones you can get, black and gold are ideal. So that absorbs the greasy flavour goodness. Then its diced bacon and minced garlic. When just about fried, mixed herbs. An absolute killer side for a bbq.

There is no Waitangi Day celebrations in 2022 at Northlands, that's according to PM Ardern.

Revenge is sweet, or so they say, but who are "they"???
"They" are the people/s who gave me a name and address of a certain wardsman at SCGH who on the second day of my lung removal recognised me?.....I dident recognise him, as a person from my past, my last 10 years in WA past.
He proceeded to punch me in the chest with an open hand, the heel to be precise, right on my surgical wound site, nothing was done about it, and there were 2 witnesses?....nothing, no investigation, nothing, so all that trouble the surgeon took to remove my lung contained in a sealed bag was wasted!.....sealed to try stop the spread of cancer molecules!

May God have Mercy on his soul, if he has one, and to his RN girlfriend who disconnected my buzzer, well I'm coming after both of you, or someone is coming on my behalf you maggot:groan

Nothing was done, zilch, physically it's an impossibility for me to sort out, I like and have always looked after my own business, but this was nasty, I couldn't move, I had to hold the drain tube with my right hand, my left is a "claw hand"..hospital lost my complaint, police said its hospitals business, hospital said they found no evidence of an assault, so there ya go, and nobody knew I was there, except my neighbours, and AFF, but I hung with some ******** people in my life and how they knew I was in there has got me stuffed, got told Friday and operated on Monday, just makes you wonder who has access to your personal information, but I recognised him from my past, regional town drug dealer, I complained to local ranger about too many used "picks" syringes at a certain place, a very public place during the day, but don't walk there at night!

It's not nice stepping on used needles, very sad really, but this dog now has his car number plate on a certain website in NSW, and on either side of the number plate are 2 magnetic anti Islamic stickers, put on for the photo and then removed, oh well ya get back what you give out!

But the hospital failed me badly, I walked out after 2 and a half days, for my own safety of course, but their head of security an ex WA detective, ex Federal Police, ex NSW detective would not let me see the photo id's of the hospital wardsmen?....got told I was given too much Ketamine and was hallucinating, lol, 2 doctors walked in while it was happening and they stopped immediately, the doctors did not come forward to back it up, I would of been a goner if they dident turn up!

This may sound dumb, stupid or other words to that effect. But today i went to the post oriface to pick up a package and signed for it.
So nothing amazing.
So in 2017 i lost function to my left arm, and im left handed. So my once it worked again my brain needed to effectively retrain said arm to do what it was told.
So for the best part she's apples. However, me being the pig headed fool i am, handwriting, that was instantly too hard and if a child can do it.... so i gave up.
I pulled my head out of my posterior and yeah, i write like a 5 year old, but now my signature just that, not as easy as forging a squigly X.
And i checked my demerit points, the 1 i lost has gone away. It was 3 years ago so eh.

Like many on here, I used to watch Bathurst every year with my Dad. Even though he had owned holdens before I was born, as a kid, Fords was all we had as a family: from a TE Cortina through to an EF Futura. (After the EF, he moved on to a Nissan X-trail, which was the last car he owned before he passed). This is where my love of Fords developed.

I've just realised that, as a result of the rescheduled dates for Bathurst this year, I'll be able to sit in front of the TV watching the race on the anniversary of his birthday tomorrow. The anniversary of his passing is on Tuesday so the delayed bathurst this year will feel even more special this year.

Mate, so as a youngter i was ambidextrous. But i chose the left hand.
I, well got into trouble but thats not really the correct term, but in year 2 my teacher called my mum asking whats going on here? I wrote a story as was asked but i did it backwards. I picked up the pencil with my right hand and non thinkingly did the whole trailing hand thing and wrote right to left. So backwards. So it wasnt calling me a retard, technically i am, but it was more of a how in the why kind of question.
My teacher, she didnt fault my writing or whatnot, it was just backwards and i in no way case or form can replicate that these days. So the letters were forwards, just the words were right to left, so backwards was sdrawkcab.

You are talking about 3 different conditions.cerebral palsy is not a term used as retarded. It is a physical condition.I know a couple of people with CP and they are as mentally capable as any fully able bodied person, but have a physical impairment which they are quite capable of coping with.

I dont use cans of coke, the chickens get half cans of beer up em. And no its not a waste of perfectly good beer when they turn out as well as they do. However, i wouldnt recomend wasting a chicken by using your standard issue vb, new or whatever. Its got to be one of the ****er beers with the weird flavour undertones.
