Well done fellas. It was bound to happen sooner or later. How much quicker do you think you can go un-opened?

whats the record for a car with fuel in the tank, road tyres, no slapper bars, stock convertor, spare wheel in jack etc, tonneau cover & stock diff gears you use on the street.
In other words a car that is really unopened and of stock weight & road worthy as the manufacturer & ADR'S intended?

WTF?
unopened normally relates to just the motor and in the case of the LS1 they are allowed to replace valve springs.
Chris drove his car to heathcote yesterday the way he drives it to work everyday and I'm sure he probably drove it that way there today.
I drove behind him yesterday in the p#ssing down rain and the car drove as good as any other car in the 7 car BA line up we had
As for tyres, I have not spoken to him today but I know he was going to run dot approved tyres not slicks, possibly nittos, I'm sure Chris will answer this later today.

Just came back from Heathcote Chris and Dave were still there...
Chris got out of the ute and pumped his hands in the air he was over the moon..
from memory it went like this.
13.08
13.03
12.99
12.94
12.99
With 2.0, 60 foots most runs, if you could get a decent Hi-Stall with a 1.8, 60 foot... no reason why a 12.7, 12.8 couldnt be done.
also seen 108 mph on the board.
good work guy's 12 sec, 260 un-opened...
now Chris crack it open...

Hi guys,

just want to thank all the boss owners out there, who paid their hard earned money to get their butt into one of these fine vehicles.

All you Boss owners have been the butt of many jokes, but believe me these things are continuing to show their stuff, week by week. people weren't laughing today. I raced several LS1's from a well known tuning house, and they were left scratching their heads..... :

Simon (GTP330) I cant believe you talked me into this software, mate hooking up with you has been a trip, its all started from you bro, im just glad to have met up with you. be on your doorstep soon.

Everytime I see a GT, pursuit, XR8 or GTP, I cant help but get goosebumps. not sure if its the bonnet bulge, or the vicious roar that these things develop, but I love them all.

My girlfriend asked me a week ago when we were going to spend more friday nights together, and I said "as soon as I run a 12".

She's sure gonna be dissapointed........

see you guys at Calder fri................................
