the only thing i can say is that i totally agree with the other boys who hav put things up about 2day.

Even though it was cold it was a fantastic day.

i certainly hope those holes are filled by the time we go back up there.

From my count there were 14 when we left Maccas and i think 2 ppl dropped out when we hit Lithgow.

Idea for the next one, head down south???

: : : : :

Default Tops!!!

Hi All,

Yer had an sbsolute cracker of a day today.

All up we had 15 cars today, which is an absolute ripper of a number!!!

It was great to look in the mirror and see a long line of beaut rides. Some new faces and it was great to see Steve (Geeseman) and his 390KW monster, ozemale, mate, thats a tops looking ride too!!!! Evan, Dave (forgot a few names, I'm sorry), great to see you guys too.
Hope you will hang around!

Roads were fantastic and everybody got a chance to stretch the legs, which was great.

It is a really good sight, when you see so many cars (and the bseries events getting larger and larger), as well as so many people having a great time together.

Roll on the next event..

Cheers
Ben

Ditto to all the above posts - as a cruise-virgin it was a great way to start. Thanks to the regulars for making us newbie's feel welcome - it's good to be able to put faces to names/cars now. Good job on the state-of-the-road calls from the front of the pack too Ben - top shelf effort.

The only downside of the day is that I spent the whole drive home thinking of what I need to mod to keep up better next time... the financial controller (aka wife) won't be happy.

Hi Peter T you would be thinking of another forums cruise not ours mate not as much sneezing and sniffling and all the things you would hear in the doctors waiting room going on ;)

Was fantastic Ben....Well organised champ !!! My only two regrets are (1) wish i stayed on with you guys a bit longer but paranoid about losing my front bar on some of those tracks (you guys know me by now !!!!) and (2) that I didn't take any pics before I left you guys at Lithgow..bought my camera too with 2 sets of batteries but forgot !!!! Great to put names to faces

And without any disrepect to anyone, while all the Falcs looked fantastic my pick of the bunch (apart from my car...ha ha) was the Phantom XR6 Turbo with the hot looking rims (can't remember which member owned it) but love that car !!!! especially nice looking at it in my rear view mirror !!!

Cheers
Pete

Thanks Ben for a great day, and to everyone else for that matter.
Im not sure if I saw any potholes on this trip but i did manage to dodge every crater in the road, there where some massive holes hey.

It is sad to say that I will have to give that cruz destination a miss next time as the ute bottomed out on almost every bump in the road, and I didn't like being at the end of the pack due to this. :

A trip down to kiama or Nasho sounds like a top idea for the next cruz, there are some nice roads to be had, OH and did I mention the views.

Those pics look like they were taken at Bilpin ... sorry I couldn't make it ... was looking after the wife after big night on the wine ... a lot of cleaning up was needed.

Don't worry mate, Krispy Kremes are terrible, and expensive, but mostly terrible. And if you keep eating them you might end up like Ben.......A Turbo owner. :O

Down South sounds good to me!! It'll be nice to not have to wake up an early to travel an hour for once for a cruise.
Are we thinking before or after the AFF Dyno day?

If people know the southern roads well, hey, map one out and let's get it happening!!!

One last thing.. All this mention os heading and going south is a wee bit of a concern... Is there something you southern boys aren't telling us????

By the way, when is that dyno day at Autotech, cant find thread, maybe blind too?

I will be attending the day though, want to see how much power my XR6T really has with a fully operational clutch

It hit 199.74 rwkw on C&v's rollers last year with a worn clutch and did my PB of 13.924 with it too : It will sound fully 'sIcK' with the dogbox :
