Yep i've been watching it this last week and its been awesome. Sick of seeing American Chopper on constantly but ahwel.

Anyone else watch that show about the company that built an Electric Camaro SS for the singer of Chilli Peppers?? It was laying big black burnouts without making a sound lol

My friend has SelecTV (like a budget version of Foxtel) and whenever I go round I always try to get a bit of viewing of Discovery Turbo. Unfortunately she doesn't appreciate it as much as me so I don't get to watch it much :(

Its been on SelecTV for quite a while now, you say its new to Foxtel? I reckon I was flicking through and found it a good 6 months ago?

yeah its not bad, some new shows coming in december which should be good. Cant say I am much of a fan of the bike and boat shows though.

Im really looking forward to the wheeler and dealer one, where they restore classics (its got a red 944 on the add).

wheeler dealers used to be on Discovery a year or 2 ago. It's a great show though and they go through the in's and outs of buying a car, what to look for, market pricing, ripping sellers off etc etc hehe.
You learn alot too just about minor servicing, bodywork, mechanicals etc.

I've had it for a couple of years- part of a local cable deal through TransAct.
Good to get a bit of a dose of Overhaulin, and a few resto shows, fairly repetitive though.

Well I have foxtel but luckily not paying the bill, to put it bluntly I could never see myself paying for it.

Grand Designs is about the only show I watch that isn't on normal TV.

Grand Designs is on the ABC too. One of the best shows going IMO.

Anyone else having problems with series link on Disc Turbo? I can't link any of the shows on this channel.

Classic car club is a great show, they reviewed an lamborghini countash and a mid '90s escort cosworth amongst others a couple of days ago. Its great seeing how supercars used to be made.

Select tv's discovery turbo is a couple of years behind. Fifth Gears around 2007 and they keep repeating everything. Showing the same series of Hard Shine for about the third time and they've started the same series we had on a few months ago of Wrecks to riches, Trick my truck, Overhauling, Chop shop etc. Still the most used channel on our tv.
