Question Exhaust places in east melb?
sup guys,
just rang up RACV and they said that a 2.5" exhaust system would be fine

i live in east melb and im after a quality shop to fit a redback system. im after your experiences and recomendations of exhausts shops, thanks guys

Do you mean the Eastern Suburbs or the actual suburb of East Melb?

I'm tipping you mean eastern suburbs, so i'd reccomend either Exhaust Fix in Croydon or Hallam Performance in Hallam. Both have done top notch work for me before.

Be very, very wary where you go. There are plenty of extremely bodgy places in the Croydon/Ringwood area... a number of whom i've had run ins with over the years.

I think performance exhaust in ringwood are quite good, ask for Dave. Exhaust fix did a very bodgy fix on my girlfriends car a while ago but have also heard very good things about them.

Lol, performance exhaust did a seriously bodgy job for me so I won't use them, but exhaust fix saved an even bodgier job that (someone I won't mention in croydon) did for me.

Midas in ferntree gully also did a good job on my 3inch mandrel bent exhaust.

TyreToaster from FF supplied and fitted my 3" straight through (IRS) red-back system for $410, after hours too. That was cheaper than supply only from every where else. I believe he still does the same with all the red-back systems supplied and fitted for the supply price. If you want I can PM you his details.

I've used Barney for all my cars and boat for the last 18 years and I haven't seen anyone come close to his work yet ( pre-fab excluded )
He did my catback exhaust in his shed one night over a few cans before I got The Herrod stainless setup .
Come to think of it , if anyone is looking to buy a quality catback system for a BA xr8 ute , I have one in perfect nick .

You won't be disappointed with his work .
