hi guys i have a 2008 Fiesta (Newershape) and My radio display turns off, then turns back on in a few seconds, then about 20 seconds later the actual radio itself turns off.
Has anyone had this problem before or no how to fix it? Many Thanks josh |

Hi,
The radio in my 2008 Fiesta has just done the exact same thing. How did you deal with it? Cheers. |

It sounds like "dry solder". This is where a solder detaches itself from its connection. If it appears as the same fault over many units it comes down to the skill of the person/robot doing the soldering.
As most circuit board have hundreds of solder joints it is extremely hard to track. |

Hi,
Looks like I'll have to purchase a second-hand radio and install it... Cheers. |
