Default 'nuther Ford in the family

My wife just moved from the Mazda 3..2009 ..to Ford Focus Trend..5 speed Lunar Sky colour. $25,600 on the road.

We test drove the auto ( very nice ), but the a manual gear box is always the fave with my wife.

We had already done some comparison shopping at the Melbourne Motor Show, so we were familiar with the competition.

In my opinion, Ford is on a winner with this car. Only 50 kms on the clock, but handles very well, excellent NVH levels ( better watch the speedo ), and passes the " thunk" test for solidity. The Mazda 3 is a great car, but the Ford Focus is an evolution beyond that. Didn't hurt that fixed price service ( $195 ) came as standard, with a dealership 3 yr/100,00 on top of the standard 3/100,000.

As for the sales people on the list, the thing that brought us to the dealership was the recent excellent service I had done on the G6ET.

We did let the principal of the dealership know of the role that the service dept had to play.

cheers

Congratulations. Enjoy the new purchase!

Really happy to hear that you're very satisfied with your selling dealer and the service department.
