Glad to see the good results coming in Casper, and I hope that the next few rounds are even better.

Look forward to the rest of the mods being disclosed and tested!

Certainly am. Was nice to see your car too, actually was parked next to mine for a bit out the front of the workshop, would have made a good photo shoot : .

Regarding this discussion on power gains, I think it's only natural that people will question things, and its usually a positive thing too. If nothing was questioned, we'd all be driving stock standard cars, the status quo would never be challenged. Someone once said, the best appraisal of one's self comes from one's enemy. That applies here; even a negative comment on a mod can provide information, or an objective viewpoint if you read between the lines.

Therefore: bring on controversy. R&D is driven by challenges.

G&D have my confidence, the workshop is well presented and tidy (except for that exhaust minefield they had going :hihi: ), and the team are professional yet personable.

This brings up a good point though. Yes, we do have an expected power level for the mods however, just looking through the forums, I am trying to find the highest rwkw from an NA I6 auto in an AU/E Series. Best I can find is 152rwkw based on a known reputable dyno.

Anyone find something higher? I'm just curious to see what the actual highest rwkw is for an NA I6 SOHC auto.

(dont bother posting numbers unless there is proof and it is done on a dyno that is known to be reputable ie APS, Hallam, G&D, Spiro's etc).

nah, they allready have an unfair advantage of a headstart with research on mods _2:
Thats a sweet air box set up..so can u explain how the setup gets such a good gain(such as where the air flow is coming from?)or whatever!!

Reckon ud ever paint the box and other engine bay parts to really shaz it up?

yeah, hell of a headstart. It was a JMM CAI system we replaced! : Every great empire has collapsed at some stage.

The air is taken from behind the headlights. The design and construction are G&D issues that I'll let them answer if they choose to.. but I'd say that its unlikely they will say exactly what they do.. would you?

My car is black.. the box is black.. paint adds weight (a gram at a time) so no, I'm not in this to look pretty.
