Plastic Glue

I'm trying to stick my side indicator lens back together. I need a glue that is strong and will not make the plastic frost up or chrome paint come of the inside backing.

just buy a new one they are less than $20 I think last one i got was about $16 not worth fixing

lol servo's sell super glue, the " ONE DROP HOLDS ONE TONNE " stuff.. works well.. but its about as much as a new lense..

go to the Hobby shop and ask for C.A. glue.
be careful, it makes Super Glue look like childrens clag.
use small amounts, it can frost if you use too much.

why would you bother? you will still have cracks and new ones are so cheap

true but with the cost of replacements repair would be a retrograde step it would cost only a few dollars more and you wouldnt have substandard cracked and lets face it ugly parts. sometimes repair is just not worth contemplating you might go out and spend $10 or more on glue that will never get rid of the appearance that there has been damage.

While this is true, he will only use one or two drops to fix the indicator, and will have heaps left over for other things. Buying a new lens means at some stage he will still have to buy glue for something.
