Was going to try a dome light conversion on the XR and found one from a Territory on ebay cheap. Got it for $7.50 including postage :sm_headba .
Got it today but its huge! Didnt look that big in the pic  :Its about 4x bigger than an E-Series one.  :

After seeing how big it is im unlikely to be going to do this to the XR. At minimum I will have to cut the headlining and I dont want to do that.
But I will atleast try it on the Fairmont and then post up some pics of this monster.
