This out now? hmm might have to try it, wasn't too thrilled with the demo, seemed lame compared to the good old NFS HP 2 (one with the TE50 cop car)

yeah it come out on PC yesturday. Its not the best NFS but its a nice change form the tuning versions of late and going back to its roots. No TE50s and no GT335s either sadly. However the headlight design on some so-called "Ford concept" seem to like an FG.

I like the looong highways and the graphics. Handling physics could be better and at this early stage of the game, choice of cars seems to depend on the track, however the autolog looks interesting in regards to the way it encourages rivalry for fastest times. Hense why I'm here looking for friends.

I must be living under a rock not to have heard about it. Will grab it and give it a whirl I reckon!

Edit: Not available on Steam yet, but for those who really want it, you can download from EA direct, $79.99 http://eastore.ea.com/store/eaapac/e...ctID.210703600

Played it. Was a huge barrel of meh. The menus and unlocking of news cars was seriously annoying.

I gave the demo a go on Xbox live and didn't really care for it. There's a lot of things that bugged me about it but not enough to consider it a bad game, just enough to stop me from buying it.

Went out and bought it today.

ADLRiksta for anyone who wants to add me.

Can you cross-platform add friends? ie I play on PC, can I add you (or you add me) if you play on PS or XBox?

Hey Riksta, I have added you. see you online

. As far as I know, the online aspects of NFS are not cross platform. Only some Xbox games are cross platform with PC and some steam games are cross platform (pc & mac).

However you can add xbox friends to your games for windows live account (and vice-versa) to compare achievements but as stated only a few are truly cross platform.

Same, waste of 1.5GB!

It is better than the previous ones but the physics are a tad to arcade for me.

Just got the game earlier today , played a fews hours on, i really like it , its missing the turning part that the last few nfs games had, love the gameplay i'm running it on my mums laplap with a really good video card,

love it that the good cars get unlocked really early which is great unlike past nfs games you have to wait to next stage to unlock them, Love it the the racer has the same weapons as the cop and you can emp other racers sweet , and the cops wahoo

After watching this trailer - I'm 100% sold - I MUST buy it!

http://kotaku.com/5699545/watch-this...or-hot-pursuit

PS: If there are 1,000,000 views of this trailer by Dec 12, NFS will release a free DLC pack of the Dodge Viper Convertible Final Edition, Lambo Mucie LP650-4 Roadster and Bentley GTC Supersport - all convertibles!

game trailers always look better then the actual game is. I was gonna buy it, but I played it at EB games and it was nothing special.
Need for speed games bore me these days. Have no idea why.

It's made by criterion the studio behind the burnout games, those who played burnout paradise can clearly see the influence. While I do enjoy a arcade driving game from time to time I'm up to my elbows in gt5/black-ops and will be for a while.

been playing since i got it, just about finished the racer mode, the final race takes ages, its a really long track and its hard too, so expect it to take a while.

glad to see we have cars that go super fast in this version without mods.
