It was a major flop if I remember correctly. The heavy tank of a car did not fit nicely with the little rotary. Probably wasted more fuel than a V8.

Yeah. Not enough torque for the big barge???

You'd be freaking crazy to pay near 20gs for that thing - even if it is rare!!!

still over priced for a HOLDEN even with this engine in it
This would suit a confused holden ****er with a little rice in him

overstuffed burgundy velour with gold patterns... tasty! If I recall correctly from an article I read in Unique Cars a while back, they had all sorts of stuff (for an Australian car at the time) fitted to pass Japanese regulations - seatbelt warnings etc etc...

I heard about these when I used to own my HZ Premier.. heard they were really unimpressive due to the weight..

Should've put a cosmo 20bTT in then it would've turned heads That's what I wanted to put in mine.

I saw one of the these in Bangkok.....

I was stuck in traffic jam surrounded by ricers and diesel hiace vans......and then out pops a HZ......made me homesick.

Was a dodgy bit of 70's badge engineering - Mazda wanted a fullsize luxo sedan with local running gear, Holden foolishly stepped up...

They also had a fridge under the bonnet as an option. And if you don't think a Kingswood is enough to weigh a rotary down with, there was also a 20 seater bus with a rotary...
